there is one effivient (but not always short) method for usual positions
described at [http://www.rescon.de/Compu/schachzahl1_e.html].

Bieter Bürßner recentlty is discussing on that in German at the ARENA Support
Forum: [http://f22.parsimony.net/forum41668/messages/27890.htm], where he had
repeated a description of his more homogenous approach.
