They did, as you pointed out, test programs long before there was an autoplayer. However, sometimes the advent of something convenient (like an autoplayer) makes it tough to go back to days before. Before, everyone accepted manual play as the norm. Without an autoplayer, they never knew what they were missing. Now, however, they are likely to feel grossly inconvenienced. Roger
