And so on :) Uri is right, better try to understand what he is telling you. Some of nowadays engines (mine included) remember everything what has been played before and make advantage of that. If an engine within a second shows you a depth of 16-18 plies with the same score you know that it comes from previous calculation. My own engine does exactly that. I am running the 11.h5 position with S8 right now, after 10 minutes the current best move is 11.a3, score -0.75, depth=20, hash table size = 256 Mb. Turn off "Position Learning" in the Shredder8 engine parameter section and you will see. Ed
