All is right for move 01.a3 and 01. ... e5 Now I must make my move 02. I wait and looked the ponder analyses: Ply 5 right Ply 6 right Ply 7 right Ply 8 right Ply 9 right Ply 10 no I see no Ply 10 !! With the WB adapter from Chess-Base (23.11.00) the ponder mode stoped after Ply 9 !! With the WB adapter from Chess-Base (24.05.01) the podner mode stoped after Ply 9 and The King make no a permanent brain analyses for the next move :-)) I mean for move 3 and not for move 2 because I make to this moment not my second move !! This is the mistake !! Please try this with version 3.12 or 3.12c (the same mistakte). I am not sure ... I little mistake in your adapter or in the WinBoard adapter. >I have no understanding on how Fritz adopt his play to your, so sorry I can not >help with the log fil, but my guesses is that its not the adapter nor the >inbetween nor the King, but The GUI that try to make the game interseting. Please try this. Make a move 1. a3. After the answere 1. e5 please look in your debug file (*.init with debug = true). You can see after Ply 9 the mistake. >But what do I know, I have never played a game in this GUI. >Also take a note on my email. No problem with TheKing under Shredder or other GUIs.
