Congratulations to Amir and Shay.

You can take for granted that I will do my best to -respectfully- kick them off
of this first place! :)


Now a word for those who believe in "tuning" and the like: Amir and Shay could
not "tune" for example against Rebel-Tiger, as the product was not available
when they released Junior6.

But still they were able to achieve a better ranking. Just by improving their
program, not by specifically tuning against the number one.

This is all good news for computer chess in general: we are still improving our
engines. There are still big improvements in chess knowledge and in search
algorithms.
